 Alberta Gary provides a compassionate Christian presence and programs for persons of all ages in east Columbia and surrounding Howard County neighborhoods of Ellicott City, Jessup, Laurel, Clarksville, and Savage.

Winter Services

Alberta Gary United Methodist is one of the oldest institutions in Howard County, a community church dating back to the time when the area was devoted to sparsely settled farmland.  As the area grew, bringing with it electricity, paved roads, and many more people, Alberta Gary's community spirit and focus remained strong.  As but one illustration of this community focus and long history, the bell tower houses an old fashioned farm bell, donated by a local farm to the church more than fifty years ago.
