Hello, Alberta Gary Memorial!
My name is Pastor Angela Pupino, and as of July 1st, 2026, Bishop LaTrelle Miller Easterling and her Cabinet have appointed me to serve your congregation. I am deeply honored to serve a church with this much history and heart behind it.
This is my first time pastoring a church, but I have been working in churches for years now. Since 2022, I have worked with middle school, high school, and college students at National UMC in Washington, DC. And I just finished serving the congregation at Old Otterbein UMC and the Baltimore-Washington Conference's Archives as a pastoral intern, one of the last requirements I have before graduating from Wesley Theological Seminary. My long-term goal is living into my call to serve as an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church, but I still have about four years to go until I am eligible for full ordination.
You will learn a lot more about me and my particular call to ministry over the next few months, just as I will learn a lot more about you and your faith journeys. I think you will find that I am a nerd, have a good sense of humor, and love following our silly, amazing, and powerful God wherever God leads me.
